At The Blackback we are all about the beer. It is the reason we are here. We proudly cater to the many beer fans from all over the world. Waterbury VT is the Epicenter of beer in the Northeast and arguably one of the finest in the nation. We also recognize the important role beer has played in this towns recent history. From beer comes life and vitality which celebrates our localvore farm to plate business model.

Base Camp S’more Stout: Sweet, honeyed, mallow notes. Biscuity and chocolatey maltiness. Even a touch of rauchmalt for a little campfire smoke at the end of the taste. 7.7% $7

Alvinne Cuvee Freddy (Sofie Edition)" is a barrel aged version of our blond 10 ABV sour 8% $7

Foley Brothers Pieces of Eight:This delicious double IPA is brewed and dry hopped twice with an amazing blend of eight hop varieties to create a one of a kind experience 8% $7

Four Quarters Great Bear: Lightly smoked, chocolate oatmeal brown ale. 6% $7

Four Quarters Morning Star: Imperial breakfast stout – contains coffee and lactose. 9% $7

Four Quarters Schmilsson: a sour w/ toasted coconut, lime and sea salt 5.5% $7

Frost Beer Works Lush DIPA: A double IPA with luxuriant aromatics and succulent flavors. The combination of hops from both hemispheres & our ale yeast complement each other to create rich, juicy character. 8% $7.

Hill Farmstead Earl:this Stout is crafted from American malted barley, Flaked Oats, English roasted malts, American hops, Organic Guatemalan Coffee, our ale yeast, and water from our well. It is unfiltered and naturally carbonated 7.2% $7

Hill Farmstead Edward: American Pale Ale, unfiltered and dry hopped with citrus &  pine 5.2% $6

Hill Farmstead Genealogy: the base beer of Genealogy of Morals,brewed with malted wheat and locally roasted coffee, then conditioned in stainless steel. Dark, rich and smooth, w/ complex flavors 9.5% $7

Knee Deep Breaking Bud: flavors and aromas of Mosaic. Also in the hop mix are Simcoe and CTZ, creating layers of mango, passion fruit, pine and dank 6.5% $7

Schneider Weiss Adventinus:intensive, typically top-fermented clove-like aroma. On the tongue it is very full-bodied, compact and yet fresh with a hint of caramel. It finishes with a light and delicate taste of bitters 8.2% $7

Ten Bends Northern Heights DIPA:  hazy, hoppy and juicy finished with Mosaic and Citra hops. 8% $7

Wunderkammer Vol. 11 Ghostpipes: Vasili uses the lees of Vol.10 Bufo Americanus, adds Bob M’s backyard hops to create this lovely saison. Brilliant. 4% $7

Zero Gravity Grand Royal DIPA: Galaxy, Mosaic, & 007 hops.Tropical fruit & pine w/ clean malt backbone. 8.3% $7
